Deborah Lanham
President & CEO
Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce
Born in Arizona and raised in Michigan, Lanham worked in metro Detroit before relocating to the Alpharetta area 22 years ago. She has decades of business, volunteer, and community experience in Metro Atlanta; she currently sits on the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) North Metro Advisory Board; and she has served on the Tech Alpharetta Board of Directors, United Way of Greater Atlanta North Fulton Advisory Board, and North Fulton Mental Health Collaborative.
Lanham served as a top executive with the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GNFCC) for nearly eight years—the last four as Vice President of Business Development. During her successful tenure at GNFCC, she promoted diversity and inclusion in all levels of the organization while also achieving record-breaking growth in individual, business, and corporate memberships. She also helped expand business-focused programs and services in the areas of technology, women in business, and young business professionals.
After leaving GNFCC in 2018, Lanham launched Sufficient Imagination, LLC, a successful business development consultancy that assisted a number of start-up and established companies in launching, expanding, and growing new revenue opportunities.
Ron Altman
Owner, BurgerFi
Chairman, Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce
Ron Altman had a distinguished 30-year corporate career in the food industry, serving in top executive ranks of Fortune 100 companies. A fast-track career with Kraft, Heinz, Rich Products and Dannon culminated as President of multiple ConAgra domestic and international companies.
Ron is an alum of University of North Carolina and has served on the boards of National Christian Foundation, International Foodservice Manufacturers Association, BurgerFi, Lifework Leadership, Network Architects, Somebody Cares Tampa Bay, and Chairman of the Board, Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce.
Motivated by his entrepreneurial spirit, Ron left the corporate world and built a strategic consulting business, focused on business development and strategic planning for small to mid-cap companies. Ultimately, a passion for the hospitality industry led him to commit to a multiunit franchise agreement with the BurgerFi restaurant concept.
Ron and his wife Terrie are humbled by the wide-spread acceptance and community support of their BurgerFi business and use every opportunity to give generously to the many local community causes. They were awarded the coveted ‘BurgerFi Hospitality Award’, as most exemplifying exceptional Hospitality and Service. The North Atlanta community has voted their Alpharetta Burgerfi Location the “Best of the Best BURGER” seven years consecutively.
